Social media has become one of the prominent ways to express our opinion. It has become a part of our daily routine for working class, home makers, business personalities and students.
Social media is a viral and faster interaction system paving communication among people to share their creations and to exchange information in virtual communities and networks.
It helps to keep in touch with family and friends, especially if they live miles apart.
Social sites are intelligent enough to track our old friends and help us get reconnected.
We can also make new friends by connecting with friends of friends that you might not know.
Who is Running Social Media World?
Behind every success of the great social media platform there were millions of great women.
According to research done by FinanceOnline, which was taken from PEW, Nielsen and Burst Media, women use social media more often and in more ways than men do.
Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter all have more women user on the platform than men.
Pinterest, not surprisingly, has a more female user. 33 % of female using the site, compared to 8 % of all men.
Perhaps more interesting, women are leading the charge of social media use via mobile.
46% of women use their Smartphone to check in on social media activities, while 43 % of men use their Smartphone.
The same theory is used for tablets, where 32 % of women check in to social media versus 20 % of men.
The research found one more thing that women are more interested to interact with brands via social media than men.
More than half of women use social media to show support and access offers from brands, while less than half of men are using social media in the same way.
Women also use social media to stay current with brands and comment on their favorite brands more than men do
Even in the news sector, women prefer to get their tidbits from social media. 58 % of women get their news fix from Facebook where just 43 % of men hit up the Newsfeed for news.
Women lead the trend of accessing social media via mobile.
The fact that women are more active on social media than men isn’t a recent discovery. The statement has held true for at least the last five years.
Women take major part on social media world…..

SocialCards -iPhone app launched
“Changes are permanent”. 21st century trend has taken a huge amendment in education, technology, nutritional regime, attire and even communication within people. Books to CDs, toys to play stations, post boxes to inboxes, market shopping to online shopping. People at once were the messengers but now “messengers” are inside their arms as an app in the mobile phones. People aren’t introduced by relations or friends but mostly through mutual friends and they aren’t identified by faces but through profile pictures.
The current era, which has brought about the change and has given a bird’s eye view to many of the human activities, is the “Internet”
The speed taking trend has made life easy and fashionable; however our old mores has been a dead letter. Handing over the old ones back is hard-hitting but still we have made a meek attempt for the post cards as SOCIALCARDS.
The custom of Post cards or greetings where we make or buy while we sit down to pen with a stamp to send to our dear ones are now brought back to you as SocialCards.
You can create and send a social card and that can be announced to your social media connections on facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and Google plus.

Incredible Traits are also instigated in SocialCards

Society is nowhere but mostly online. We have 40% of 75% employed population in India spending more hours on the net, making social media the best platform for the political parties to interact with voters. The election participants had a workshop last year on how social media is indispensible.
Social media – a great impact on voters is not a house of cards. Congress and BJP – the Arch rivals have understood this and have created their presence and have kept engaging with the voters. Public rallies, television, print, radio where the strategies for the campaign. Now Social media is the next big boon for politicians. It can also turn to be a boon in disguise since there are people opposing and talking more about them, making more people engaged and come to know the reality. IMRB-Indian Market Research Bureau estimates the number of social media users to rise to 91 million on December at the end of last year. To be sure, this is a fraction of India's total voting population of more than 700 million. And, not all social media users vote. But these people are actively engaging in political debates and influencing opinions.
In a survey 95 percent respondent said they were following the digital campaigns of political parties. The news, facts, their speeches, the banners which political parties use and many more all are revealed in social news feeds. Many people are engaged by commenting, sharing and following to make more people aware.
Currently we have millions of users on the social media giant Facebook and book marking site Twitter. These two have made a great impact on the society for entertainment, events in community, sports, national government and politics, crime, health and medicine, local government and politics, local weather and traffic, International news, science and technology and business. 55 percent of Facebook consumers engage on National politics and 44 percent on local politics. Hence the digital campaigns have spoken more than any other strategies.
There is an educated guess among the people that when a person posts a question on Facebook, all people gets affianced and answer with their perception on who will win the election. People have an intention to click on the option where there are highest numbers of votes. This on default brings the same results on real elections.
Social media is at political parties’ beck and call.
